Mixing brings all the elements of a song to life, putting each in it's place to elevate the meaning of the song - my favourite creative task!

Having played violin in many ensembles over the years, string arrangements come very naturally to me.
Outsourcing the playing to a professional strings player, who also happens to be my sister, we can provide a duo, quartet, or full string ensemble part to add to your production

Guitar Session Work
Specialising in pop styles, I can provide acoustic, electric or bass tracks to your specification.

I have a range of guitars, amps, speakers and mics, including a custom built studio amp for electric guitar - a super versatile rig, that achieves amazing mic'd tones.

Fiona Forman heads up Red Robin Recording, providing full remote music production services, out of Tasmania, Australia.

We love to partner with artists in a range of pop genres on their recording journey all the way from finalising songwriting, and completing production through to final mixdown and mastering.
